Our hosting and service delivery infrastructure ensures the highest level of security. This is supported by a world-class network, data and physical security environment. Security is an ongoing process, not a singular event – we continuously evaluate and reinforce our security policy and practices.

Here are just some of the security precautions we take.

Our servers have SSL Certificates signed by a global leader in certificates, Trustwave, so all data transferred between the users and the service is encrypted. The encryption is the same 256-bit standard used for internet banking.

Daily backups
All your data is encrypted and backed up every night to a secure, redundant, off-site facility.

Resilient hosting
Our servers are hosted in a highly resilient datacentre with Amazon in Ireland. Backup power supplies, redundant diverse internet connections and 24/7 engineer support all contribute to keep Reminders etc. up and running so you can rely on us. If you want to learn more about the secure environment that our servers are hosted in, have a look here.

Payment security
Our Payment Service Provider is PayPal. PayPal provides a secure payment gateway, processing payments for tens of thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is PayPal’s utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way. They use a range of security methods such as fraud screening and IP address blocking. Once on the PayPal systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.

Reminders etc. does not store any of your payment details on our servers other than transaction success/failure messages.
